  • The Ponders End Community Development Trust:  brings together local people, agencies and organisations to provide a focal point for development and environmental improvements
     
  • The Norwich Fringe Project:  works with local communities to protect and enhance wildlife areas, encourage visitors and provide information about the Norwich Fringe area
     
  • The Dorset Coppice Group:  comprised mainly of self - employed individuals whose main income is generated from their work in the woods as well as organisations that have an interest in sustainable woodland crafts
     
  • The West Kent Downs Countryside Trust:  wants to restore the natural beauty and habitats of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty around Cobham and Cuxton
     
  • The Environmental Investigation Agency:  an international campaigning organisation committed to investigating and exposing environmental crime
     
  • Plantlife:  the only national organisation dedicated to conserving plants in their natural habitat in the UK, as well as in Western, Central and Eastern Europe
     
  • The BioRegional Development Group:  an environmental organisation bringing local sustainability into practice in the UK and internationally
     
  • Wildlife and Countryside Link:  the umbrella organisation for English campaigning groups
     
  • CAN-UK:  the Climate Action Network-UK is a liaison body for NGO's campaigning on climate change issues

  • Womankind:  a UK based charity, established in 1989 to support the advancement of women in developing countries
     
  • UNICEF - Innocenti Research Centre:  works to strengthen the capacity of UNICEF to respond to the evolving needs of children and to develop a new global ethic for children
     
  • The Nepal Leprosy Trust:  a UK-based agency that provides services to people affected by leprosy in the Kingdom of Nepal
     
  • HealthProm:  promotes healthcare for vulnerable groups in Eastern Europe and Central Asia
     
  • Relief Fund for Romania:  helps a wide range of groups in need in Romania, including street children, the sick, the elderly and destitute communities
     
  • ORBIS UK:  works in developing countries to save sight through hands-on training, public health education and improved access to eye care
     
  • International Service:  provide skilled and experienced people to work in local partner organisations in West Africa, Latin America and the Middle East
     
  • World Medical Fund:  a small/medium "hands-on" UK registered charity, founded by ex-Health Service professionals, working in Malawi to alleviate the effects of AIDS and poverty.

  • The National Alliance of Women's Organisations:  a network of over 70 women's organisations with a mission to forge alliances between widely diverse women's organisations in England to achieve equality and social justice for all women
     
  • Kith and Kids:  a London-based, user-led charity working with families who have children with autism, learning, physical and/or sensory disability: many of whom have multiple disabilities
     
  • The Women's Environmental Network:  a campaigning organisation, which represents women and campaigns on issues, which link women, environment and health
     
  • Ataxia UK:  a small medical research charity fighting ataxia, a rare neurological disease
     
  • The Dante Leigh Foundation:  a new charity aiming to help young adults with learning difficulties access services that meet their needs and aspirations for development and independence
     
  • The Royal Society of Medicine:  provides educational activities and opportunities for all health-care professionals and promotes an exchange of information and ideas on the science, practice and organisation of medicine
     
  • City Roads:  a unique registered nursing home and charity with a multidisciplinary team that provides 24-hour care to people in crisis because of their drug use
     
  • The National Osteoporosis Society (NOS):  the only national charity dedicated to improving the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of this fragile bone disease
     
  • The Alkaptonuria Society:  a small charity set up to raise awareness about Alkaptonuria and fund research to find a cure for this serious and rare disease.
